"How can I lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks?" A friend of mine asked me this the other day, and I figured there are probably a lot of other people out there wondering the exact same thing. That's why I've written this article, to help friends such as yourself to lose weight fast and keep it off.
I'm sure you already know this, but when it comes down to it, there are 3 main things you can change to help you lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Here they are:
-Sleep
-Exercise
-Diet
Let's look into each of these a bit more.
1) Sleep
Are you getting at least 8 hours of sleep each night? When my friend asked my "how can I lose 2 lbs in 2 weeks," this was one of the first things I asked him. He was very surprised to hear how much sleep can help you lose weight.
This is because sleep is when your body heals itself and regulates hormones. Skimp on that, and you're only hurting yourself!
2) Exercise
You don't have to spend hours at a time in the gym to see results. Just 20-30 minutes a day can yield big results if you exercise correctly.
Be sure to do some aerobic exercise (like running or walking) along with some muscle building exercises (like pushups, pull-ups, squats, etc.)
The more muscle you have, the more calories you build 24/7 which will help you lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks.
3) Diet
Don't worry- I won't tell you to starve yourself! Instead, the best thing you can do is just eat tons of fruits and vegetables. They make you feel full but are very low in calories and high in nutrients.
Also be sure to stay away from sugars and refined carbs.
