When thinking of how to do dieting, most people thinks about foods and drinks – because that’s how we are built – to look for food. But hang on a minute… there’s more to dieting than to simply stop eating or drinking for if you simply stop – then your dieting will never work.

Dieting and health diets is a topic which is very important and interesting not only to trainers, athletes and sports people but to anyone who is thinking of losing fat and/or losing weight.

So how would one approach dieting and how to do dieting, in a way that is easy, fun and more importantly – return the kind of results they are after?

Dieting is one of those things that unless you do it properly, you will never get the results you deserve or worse – you will regain back the same old weight and fat that you worked very hard to lose only weeks or months earlier.

Here’s several simple steps in regards to food/drinks when it comes to ‘how to do dieting’ :-

 (1) Plan Your Food Shopping Carefully. It is very important for your plan on ‘how to do dieting’, to review and compile your shopping list before you go shopping. Start with lean meats, white meats like fish and chicken, eggs. Buy vegetables and fruits that are in season (as they are cheaper). Eliminate or cut down sweets, chocolates, ice-cream, cream, bacon and so forth. Buy low fat milk, low sugary drinks. Buy natural foods rather than processed foods. For cereals, always buy the unsweetened types.

 

(2) Reduce the Sizes Of Serving Per Meal. The point of dieting is to cut down on the overall food you eat. One effective way to do this, is to measure the amounts of serving you have for each meal. You don’t have to get a kitchen scale to do this – just use your common sense. Don’t reduce huge amounts but work on reducing a little each time you eat.

 

(3) Eat Six Small Servings per Day. The whole reason for this practice is to ensure that your internal body metabolism never slows down. YOu will also find that by eating 6 smaller meals, you will be eating much less overall. Sometimes we tend to overeat when we are hungry, so doing this step will prevent you from actually feeling hungry. If you are feeling hungry before your next meal – you must be doing something wrong.

 

(4) Always have a Healthy Breakfast. Never ever skip breakfast even if you don’t feel like eating. Make breakfast one of the 6 meals you are going to have every day.
